You’re Invited to the 22nd Annual Pond-O-Rama Tour! The tour is on Saturday June 25 and June 26, 2022, 9am–5pm each day. Pond-O-Rama is not just the premiere event for the St. Louis Water Garden Society, it is an attraction to locals and tourists alike. The tour includes some of the area’s most stunning water gardens and private sanctuaries, and includes koi ponds, elaborate waterfall installations, elaborate gardens, and everything in between. While tour visitors explore and enjoy the aquatic flora and fauna, Society members delight in sharing their hobby with guests. Tour host sites are located throughout the St. Louis metro area and open for the self guided tour for two days.
The St. Louis Water Garden Society (SLWGS) was established in 1990 for local water gardeners and fish enthusiasts to share information about their beloved hobby. Educational events remain central to the organization’s purpose, attracting members of all stages of water gardening at all levels of expertise. The annual pond and water garden tour, affectionately dubbed “Pond-O-Rama,” funds our civic project, the planting and maintenance of the lily ponds in front of the Jewel Box in Forest Park. This beautiful, living attraction is our annual gift to the city of St. Louis, its citizens and visitors. Each year, the St. Louis Water Garden Society members volunteer from May through October to maintain the water garden plants and to keep the ponds looking their best.
Tickets for the tour go on sale in May and include host locations, directions/ map, and garden descriptions. Ticket booklets will be available at our ticket partners and by mail.
