Born To Enchant Your Garden

From the outstanding Elizabeth MacGregor Nursery in Scotland comes the Swan Anemone Series. Like their magnificent namesake, Swan Anemones stand out above all others. Their spectacular blossoms and prolific flowering bring exceptional grace and beauty to the garden. Exquisite nodding flowers with icy white faces and violet blue undersides adorn the plants from June to October. Mounds of rich foliage look neat and tidy all season. These long-lived perennials grow easily in part shade and deer don’t bother them. You’ll adore:

Wild Swan – Winner of the one of the most prestigious plant awards in the world, the English Chelsea Flower Show Plant of the Year. Its flowers open all day long, then close to graceful nodding bells in the evening and early morning. Makes an excellent cut flower. Use Wild Swan Anemone as an enchanting specimen or massed in part shade woodland gardens. Grows 18” tall and 24” wide.

Elfin Swan – An adorable cutie, Elfin Swan only grows 14” tall. Its small size charms in the front of the garden and as an edger. Elfin Swan mixes elegantly in containers with other plants that prefer part shade.

Plant Swan Anemones in soil that has been amended with organic matter. Plants prefer a part shade location with protection from the hot afternoon sun. Although tolerant of drought, for best results keep well watered.

Visit Sugar Creek Gardens for Swan Anemones, in addition to a large variety of annuals, perennials, and vegetables – including the Mighty ‘Mato – that are arriving daily.
