Spring isn’t just when the weather turns warm, it is when the world bursts into color. The grays and browns of winter turn into the purple, blue, green, yellow, orange and red of spring blossoms. These bursts of colors aren’t just any colors, they are living colors. Colors that have a life force and energy flowing through them that reflects light to the world.
The amazing living color of plants goes out into the world, sending its energy into its surroundings and beyond. Like all colored objects, flowers and foliage absorb the colors of the white light of the sun except for the colors we see. A green leaf absorbs all the electromagnetic waves of color, except for the green wavelength. That green wavelength is reflected back and goes out into the world. We see and absorb that color. Our bodies receive that color vibration just by being nearby. The beauty, joy and healing of these colors becomes one with us. How can we not feel such joy and power in Spring. The phenomenon of spring colors is beyond words. Let living colors send their energy and life force to you. For inspiration enjoy the living colors of these photos, but better yet go outside to absorb the living colors of springtime.
