Closing thought: With such negativity in the air, now that we are in full election mode, it’s easy to forget we are all in this together. Is it really necessary to push someone down just to raise your point? American Idol judge and rock music star Steven Tyler said it best when consoling a contestant overwhelmed by nerves and self-doubt. “We are all Bozos on the bus.” Let’s not take ourselves too seriously. Especially at the expense of others. Find a way to express yourself and rise up without tearing others down.
