By Tom & Carol Braford
In the district of hope lived the 600!
Communities of Practice committed to what works
Living and working together
Governed by consent of the whole and a ‘good enough for now, safe enough to try’ philosophy
Working cooperatively and owning, not just the fruits of their labor, but also the trees and the birds that nest in them, not for themselves, but for the future’s sake
Enjoying their toil, but also their leisure, in the assurance that others will soon follow this path to community prosperity guided by temperance in all things and sharing
And then it spread, 200 here, 400 there and then we were1200
And before they knew it, 12,000 communities of hope practicing the prosperity of sharing
A new green Eco-tropolis on both sides of the river
