In June, the stunning features in water gardens are at their peak beauty — richly-colored, teeming with life, and lush with abundance. The 25th-Annual St. Louis Water Garden Society “Pond-O-Rama” tour is your invitation to wander through the sights and sounds of the area’s most-spectacular ones.
Mark your calendar for the unforgettable experience with the healing sights, scents, and sounds of water features on Saturday and Sunday, June 21–22, from 9–5 p.m. The Tour will feature 29 impressive gardens — 14 on Saturday/ 15 on Sunday, each having been meticulously prepared by Water Garden Society members to dazzle visitors.
Every garden on this tour is unique — with natural swimming holes, garden rooms, natural privacy fences, bubblers, gazebos, statues, a miniature railroad, and a Mayan bocce ball court. The blooming gardens surrounding the water features include whimsical touches that will surprise and delight guests of all ages.
Some ponds are thoughtfully integrated into an existing landscape while others showcase masterfully designed waterfalls inspired by nature. Strolling through these gardens over the 2-day tour is a pleasure for gardeners and non-gardeners alike. Let nature refresh you on this relaxed, self-guided tour featuring every kind of water feature plus unique birds, butterflies, koi fish, garden art, and lush landscaping perfect for creating memorable photos!
Pond-O-Rama gives Water Garden Society hosts the chance to showcase their incredible work while raising funds for the Society’s community service project at the Forest Park Jewel Box as well as educational and social programming throughout the year.
Tickets are required for everyone attending this event. The printed ticket books feature full-color, vibrant photos of each host location, detailed descriptions of the gardens, directions, and QR Codes for easy navigation.
Individual and Group tickets will be available in early May at local retailers and nurseries or online via the St. Louis Water Garden Society website, https://slwgs.org. Individual tickets are $25 and include membership in the Society through the end of 2025. Groups of 5 or more may purchase tickets at the discounted price of $20 per ticket.
