Babes in the Woods: Babes in the Woods: Creepy Crawlers
Register by September 8. 9:00am to 10:00am and 10:00am to 11:00am. Powder Valley Conservation Nature Center. Dress wisely for a hike looking for insects in the forest. We will see bugs of all shapes, sizes, and colors. Hiking: Couples Night Hike: Turkey Ridge Trail

This brisk 2-mile hike highlights interesting glades, bird habitat, and challenging uphill climbs. Improve your outdoor nature and photography skills and expand your creativity in this class. Learn what makes a great photo, the techniques required and the tips and tricks professional photographers use. Complete weekly assignments and bring photos to each class for critique. Every one of us has a special story to tell. But, it can be hard in this busy, modern world to access that creativity. During this class, you’ll learn to peel away the familiar outer layers of doubt, distraction and writer’s block. You’ll get to the core of what we’re actually trying to say and learn to say it with language that is irreplaceably unique to each of us. When the writer within is unleashed, the words will come freely, and the stories we need to tell will finally occur to us. 4 sessions. Wildlife: Way Out Weekend: A Socially Distanced Date Night
Register by September 26. 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Rockwoods Reservation. Enjoy a fall evening at Rockwoods Reservation with that special someone. Activities will include a privately set candle lit picnic table, music, crafts, and games. Then join us from 7 p.m. on for a s’mores campfire and storytelling . For this event bring your own picnic dinners, blankets, and coolers, but please refrain from alcohol. A flashlight and bug spray are strongly encouraged. S’mores kits will be provided. We request that you sign up all individuals in your party so that we may effectively practice social distancing.
