Missouri Botanical Garden’s Blockbuster Summer Exhibit Flora Borealis Opens June 29

Tickets are now on sale for the Missouri Botanical Garden’s summer exhibit, Flora Borealis. This nighttime multimedia experience will feature cinematic projection mapping, interactive lighting, and a custom soundscape. The evening only event will feature food and drink sales in the Garden’s newly tented beer garden, as well as live music. Flora Borealis runs June 29 through August 26, and is closed Wednesdays in July.

Tickets are date and time-specific for crowd control purposes. To ensure the best experience, please arrive to the Garden at least 15 minutes prior to entry time.
Garden grounds will open at 7 p.m. nightly for all ticket holders. Visitors are invited to stroll the Garden grounds, sip cocktails, enjoy family friendly activities and listen to live music prior to dusk. When the sun sets, the magic of Flora Borealis begins. Visitors of all ages will embark on a one-mile walking journey through the Garden like never before.

Interactive exhibits and stunning visuals will guide visitors through the exhibit.
Nymphea, the first water lily developed at the Garden in 1931, serves as the narrator as guests journey through the Garden’s history in St. Louis, and transforms the thought of plant biodiversity from an idea to an Aurora of sound and light.

A trailer for Flora Borealis is available on the Garden’s YouTube channel.
