Is it possible, even when we have a lot on our to-do lists, to be able to slow time down? Is it possible to, for example, just watch the birds eating and flying around a bird feeder for even 10 minutes? Is it possible to just do what we might name, “doing nothing”?
Today I spent 10 minutes just looking at a painting. I was noticing the colors, and how they changed with the light. I was noticing the lines the painter established. I was noticing the fine details around the animals in the painting and how they were interacting. I was asking myself what colors was the artist using and how did he/she mix the colors to get the exact shade they wanted. I just noticed and relaxed into it.
It felt and feels so good to slow down. The result is that I feel more relaxed in going about my day. It set the tone for the day.
So, what kind of day do you want? How can you set the tone for that to happen?
Take the time, and do a slow walk into the day and let me know how that was for you if you feel so moved.
And take the time to do even one fascial maneuver and see what that does for you. You can see them on my web site, www.bodypresencing.com., and also on youtube.
See you next week. I enjoy being a guide to you being your own agent of health.
