Boy, what a ride the last few years have been. If someone were to tell us the type of things we would experience back in 2019, we would not believe them. This was just before the Covid years and so on from there.
We have gotten so far from our internal roots. We have worshipped money, power, selfishness, and material things. If you asked a person with a lot of wealth how happy they are, I bet you would be surprised by many of their answers.
At a time in our world when there is so much strife, war, polarity of ideas and beliefs, misinformation used against us, technology, it is of utmost importance that we ground ourselves and come back to what is at the core our best priorities. That is being able to live from the inside out and not from the outside in. In other words, to be able to go inside of us, find our inner stability, ground ourselves with nature, grow and/or eat healthy foods, drink clear purified water, and work on our joy and our happiness and love. As we love ourselves and listen to our needs, the ability to do the same with others grows exponentially.
We have immersed ourselves in technology and lost personal connection with others. We have spent much time and energy cultivating homes, the right cars, clothes, looking a certain way, and have let go by the wayside what we need to do for us to be happy and find inner joy. We are on the wrong track when we think it is connected to material things. Yes, material things make our lives easier, and we do need things in our lives. Cultivating them and making them our goal is the issue. Let’s reconnect with ourselves. Let’s spend time and energy developing ourselves, finding out what our path is and following it, and then connect with others around us. We need to do this so that stress and illness don’t consume us.
