There is a receptacle for glass recycling now available at Earthbound Recycling, 25 Truitt Drive in Eureka.
Glass can be dropped off in the mew purple bin on the north side of the parking lot near the paper bins 24 hours a day.
Please follow the guidelines below:
Accepted
- Glass food & beverage containers
- With or without labels
- Window glass (no frames)
- Shower doors with no metal
Not Accepted
- Mirrors
- Ceramics or Dishware
- Windshields or safety glass
- Porcelain or Pyrex
Glass can be melted down and reused for other products.
Both residential and businesses are welcome to use this service. (From any area)
This free service is partially made possible thru a grant provided to Ripple Glass from the St. Louis – Jefferson Waste Management District, funded by tipping fees charged at landfills.
