42nd Natural Living Expo April 14

By Susan Hunt-Bradford

Join me at The Healthy Planet’s 42nd Natural Living Expo on April 14 at the Webster Groves Rec Center, 33 East Glendale Road, 11am-5pm. A vibrant gathering of health enthusiasts, wellness advocates and eco-conscious individuals. Over the years I’ve been involved in numerous health fairs, vendor expos and festivals, always finding each experience enriching and worthwhile.

As show coordinator, this is my second year organizing The Healthy Planet Natural Living Expo. It’s a lot of work but worth it in the end. To see so many health, wellness, and environmental initiatives in one place is exciting and valuable for all of us. Each vendor has a great product or great information that can help us in our daily lives. Our health is important, and the environment’s health is essential. On top of all this greatness, the vendors are very nice people wanting to help all of us and make an impact on our lives.

With the help of expo pros Celia Henson and JB Lester, I’m happy to say this year’s Natural Living Expo is bound to be a good time for everyone. I hope all our readers can stop and enjoy wine and food tastings, samples, health assessments, unique and beautiful items to buy, information to collect, new people to meet, and a great experience to share. There will be giveaways and drawings; I guarantee plenty of laughs and feel-good moments. Everyone, including myself, can walk away feeling more knowledgeable and enlightened about our health and the environment.

Admission is $2 or free with the complimentary ticket or free with two cans of food that we will donate to a local food bank. We’ll also accept pet food to donate to our furry friends.

Stop by and say hi. I look forward to meeting all of you.

Another great event in April is the Earth Day Festival in Forest Park on April 20 and 21. The Healthy Planet Magazine and many other worthwhile businesses will have a table at this important event. It’s always a great time with activities, food vendors, information, and items to buy. For more information on the Earth Day Festival check out their article in this issue.
