Ingredients:
- 1 x 15 oz can of chickpeas
- 1 x tbsp of tahini paste
- 1 x large garlic clove, chopped
- 3 x tbsp of fat free Greek yogurt
- 1 x half a lemon
- 2 x cucumber
- 3 x carrots
Method:
Drain off the chickpeas using a sieve over a bowl or jug to catch the liquid to be added to mix later.
Add the chickpeas, tahini, yogurt and chopped garlic clove into a blender and blend until nice and smooth.
Next blend in a tbsp of the liquid saved from the chickpeas at a time until a good consistency is achieved and then remove from the blender to a good serving bowl.
Squeeze the juice from the half lemon into the hummus mix and stir in.
Slice cucumber and carrots for dipping and serve.
Add some healthy crackers for extra dipping options if desired.
