Craft Alliance Center of Art + design
Staenberg Summer Camps at Craft Alliance are fun weekly Art classes for children and teens, ages 4-18 during May 28 – August 9, 2019. CAMP EARTHWAYS
Calling all cool planet kids! July 8–12, 9 a.m.–4 p.m. Come explore the built environment with the Missouri Botanical Garden’s sustainability team‚ the EarthWays Center. In this camp, campers will investigate sustainable building design, principles, and concepts as they create their fantasy green home, interact with architects and other green building experts from the St. Louis region, and hop aboard public transportation to discover new St. Louis sites! The St. Louis-Jefferson Solid Waste Management District makes this program available at a lower cost to participants; a limited number of scholarships may be available. Recommended for grades 5–8. Countryside Montessori Summer Camp
Give your child a summer to remember! Countryside offers the following daily activities: pony rides, Montessori activities, swimming instruction/free swim/water play, art activities, outdoor play and gardening. Faith Academy of Montessori Summer Camp
Here at Faith we feel it’s important to maintain our Montessori philosophy of education over the summer months while mixing in informative topics, arts and crafts, exciting outings, nature walks, and swimming at the Webster University pool. This sets our summer session apart from the regular school year and provides a ‘summer vacation’ feel to the program. Our camp is made up of two week sessions of varying topics. Kids for Critters Camps
We will celebrate ALL animals, all week long as we engage in fun, interactive games and activities, meet animal experts and ambassadors and put our compassion into action through service projects that benefit animals. Embark on a scavenger hunt in our shelter, explore animal-related careers, become a Jr. humane officer, observe surgery, make animal enrichment toys, decorate kennels and much, much more! Campers will have many opportunities to interact with our shelter animals and guest animals. Popular activities include training and reading to our shelter dogs and socializing shelter kittens and cats. These activities provide enrichment and socialization for them as they await their life-long loving homes. A highlight of our week-long camp is our day-long fieldtrip on Wednesday to our Longmeadow Rescue Ranch in Union, MO where we enjoy a wagon ride around the sanctuary and get up close and personal with our beloved Barn Buddies and their fellow farm animal friends who have been rescued and rehabilitated by our loving staff. Laumeier Summer Art Camp and Teen Art Program
Laumeier offers one-week themed Summer Art Camps in half-day morning sessions for ages 4–6 and full-day sessions for ages 6–12. Participants learn about art in an outdoor studio with field day activities; weekly pool visits; gallery exhibition excursions; and treks through the Park.
