became the owner of Colonial Village Pharmacy on April 1, 2016. As I transitioned from the Director of Pharmacy Services at CenterPointe Hospital to an entrepreneur, I was able to achieve one of my life long goals of owning a pharmacy. Within the first year, both doctor offices behind me closed and we had to figure out how else we could grow our new business. So I started talking to people and someone said something that I thought was very interesting and really changed the course of my experience at Colonial Village Pharmacy. They said, “ I would use your pharmacy, but I don’t take any medications.” And it hit me, most pharmacies are seen as a destination just for sick people or filling prescriptions. We want to be a destination for better health and preventing illness as well as when people are sick.
We offer the traditional pharmacy services including third party processing, home delivery, and auto refill. We also improved our technology so patients could refill their prescriptions using a mobile app or on our website.
Beyond the traditional services, we offer full service bio-identical hormone replacement therapy. We provide the lab testing, dosing recommendations, compounding, and the ongoing management using supplements and compounding for both men and women. We also offer help with fertility issues through saliva testing and support for nursing and post natal mothers.
