Home Remedies for Health and Wellness During a Difficult Winter

By Kathleen H. Christ, LMT, NCMBT

Being one plane, train or automobile from the next deadly infection that is now traveling worldwide has greatly heightened our attention and concerns for maintaining a strong immune system – our true, best and only defense. If this is also running parallel with economic distress, then families need the easiest and least expensive methods to health and wellness.

I offer 3 protocols, all of which work well alone or together.

First, an evening cleansing bath: 3 pounds of Epson Salts, 2 pounds of Baking Soda and 1 quart Hydrogen Peroxide mixed in the warmest water that you can tolerate. Remain in the water 45 minutes, continuing to add more warm water throughout, and rest and relax. In the first 20 minutes, the body is adjusting to the water and the chemicals. During the second 20 minutes, the body begins to work and cleanse with the water, oxygen, minerals, salts and elevated PH. You will be tired and will sleep deeply after this wonderful internal detox. Your pain level should drop, and please dress warm to sleep well. Twice a week would be good, or as often as needed.

Secondly, a handkerchief or mask (from Home Depot or Lowes) laced or sprinkled with Thieves Oil from Young Living Essential Oils. To not alarm people, you may prefer the handkerchief, but you might tell others that you are trying to protect everyone by wearing the mask. This is especially helpful when you are around crowds. And, the Thieves Oil has a pleasant aroma, so you won’t be repelling anyone. Thieves Oil is a blend of Cloves, Lemon, Cinnamon, Eucalyptus, and Rosemary having properties that are anti-bacteria, anti-fungal, anti-microbial, and anti-viral.

Thirdly, a custom blend of frequencies in patch form can offer energetic support. Three patches that I strongly recommend are #1. Virus, #2. Hemorrhagic Fevers, and #3. Enhanced Immune Support. These patches are worn on the left shoulder for three days each. Each sleeve holds 10 patches lasting one month.
