BStrong4Life: Strength-Balance-Bone Health Seminar Oct. 15

We all know that exercise is a vital component of a healthy lifestyle, yet a very small percentage of our population can commit to an effective and consistent fitness program over time. We have also learned through research that high intensity training, actions that stress muscle and bone at peak levels, is dramatically more effective than low intensity exercise.

As we age, the need for a high intensity workout compounds our challenge as the risk of injury and the ability to tolerate high impacts becomes an even greater problem. Many turn to pharmaceuticals to offset the risks associated with aging, such as bone density, while others choose to do nothing at all. A sedentary life style then leads to greater likelihood of injury, the body gets weaker and the cycle begins to spiral downward.

But, there is hope. New technology has focused on methods of providing high intensity exercise in a safe and sustainable environment that is specifically suited for the mature adult. The BStrong4Life system provides this in a clinical environment and is nothing short of revolutionary.

The origin of the BStrong4Life protocols and the science behind them is rooted in advanced training of high performance athletes. The methods have simply been adapted to appeal to a more mature individual by emphasizing efficiency, safety and functional human movement. Strength and muscle development does not improve during exercise, a fact that escapes many fitness enthusiasts. The improvement actually occurs during recovery, so proper and adequate rest between sessions is also monitored closely.

The result is a high intensity workout that provides rapid and measurable strength, balance and bone health improvements. These high intensity sessions can be completed in as little as 20 minutes, once a week, usually in street clothes. But, do not kid yourself. This is not a free ride. The effort is very real and rigorous – it is just brief, very targeted, precisely measured and highly supervised. Outcomes include increased proficiency in activities of daily living and an overall sense of well-being and confidence.

A detailed structural assessment is required to see if you are a candidate for this highly effective system. If you are interested in a natural approach to strength and bone health that is approachable and sustainable, please contact the only BStrong4Life Center in Missouri at Kingen Chiropractic Wellness Center.
