The Key To Your Well-Being

Your body’s chemical messengers, hormones, are the key to your well-being. Hormones relay chemical instructions to every cell in your body. As hormones are released into the bloodstream, they control and influence many bodily functions, as well as how you age.
As an example, hormones partially determine your body composition. Are you muscular and firm? Would you describe yourself as flabby and out of shape? Hormones also affect your growth and development, physical strength, energy level, sexual function, reproduction, physical performance and various aspects of mood.

Hormones are reproduced in our endocrine glands: the pituitary, the adrenals, the pancreas, thyroid, pineal and thymus glands. Additionally, sex hormones are reproduced in the testicles of men and the ovaries of women. Hormones are so powerful that even a small increase or decrease can cause sickness and disease.

There are many common diseases of the endocrine glands which include diabetes, osteoporosis, menopause disorders, growth disorders, and thyroid disorders. Thankfully there is a safer and more effective method than systemic hormone therapy, bio-identical hormone replacement therapy. Bio-identical hormone replacement therapy is a relatively new yet proven therapy for those presented with common symptoms of aging.

Benefits include:

  • Increased fat burning and weight loss
  • Improved cognitive functioning
  • Increased muscle tone and bone thickness
  • Improved libido and sexual health
  • Reduced sleep disturbances, including night sweats and insomnia
  • Increased energy
  • Reduced depression
  • Reduced risk of heart disease
  • Improved skin elasticity for a more youthful look
  • Reduced risk of osteoporosis
  • Improved circulation
