Bi-State Green Expo Set For January 22-24 In Belleville, Illinois

On January 22- 24, 2010, the St. Louis Metro area will have the opportunity to be entertained and educated in a totally green-friendly environment. Bi State Green Expo is hosting an exposition at the Belle Clair Fairgrounds in Belleville, Illinois where green businesses and green consumers can come together in one convenient location.

In a world where the general population is becoming more and more conscientious about things like the ozone layer, carbon footprints, recycling, eco-friendly products, and biodegradable items, this expo will provide a platform where information, products, and services can be shared.

An invitation is being extended for exhibitors to showcase their wares.  Many entrepreneurs, large corporations, and small business owners have found ways to green their products.  They want consumers to discover their commodities and services.  This greater St. Louis Metro area exhibition is an ideal opportunity for companies to grow their customer base, increase revenues, and display environmentally friendly products and services.  Exhibitors, call today at 618-282-6002 and request an information packet so Bi State Green Expo can help make St. Louis even more aware of your organization.

The event promises to be fun for the entire family.  Special features of the three-day expo include:  hundreds of presenting exhibitors, numerous door prizes, demonstrations of industry products, educational seminars, and a special kids’ green adventure zone where children will be able to learn green and play green.

Clear channels KLOU, WIBI, and KMOX will each be on location for one day of live broadcasting from the event.  Local area schools will participate in a Cash-For-The-Classroom contest through paper recycling.  The class, teacher, and student bringing the most poundage of paper will receive a total prize package of $1500.00 for educational improvements for the winning classroom.

CEO of Bi State Green Expo, Dr. Patti Amsden, stated that she aims to produce an expo that showcases the best of business skills with the innovation of the green world.  As a native to the Bi-State area, she knows the needs of the local citizens and the strengths of the companies that serve the local communities.  “Both businesses and citizens,” says Amsden, “will benefit from this extraordinary event.”

Serving as Director of Events, Cathy Dupertuis states, “We hope that all who attend will leave with a better understanding of how to personally make a bigger environmental impact.”  Dupertuis continues, “Our team has developed an outstanding event that will provide our visitors with education, entertainment and a valuable appreciation of renewable resources.”
