St. Louis Cardinals Baseball starts on March 31 at home against the San Diego Padres. As I am huge fan of Baseball and Recycling the “4 a Greener Game” will be under way as well. The Cards program has increased many efforts at the ballpark. This year they will be working on composting and improving the recycling stream. Join us in helping the Cardinals reach their goal which is 40% diversion rate for their waste. On March 16th, Small Business Monthly will be hosting the St. Louis Business Expo at the St. Charles Convention Center from 11:am- 6:00pm. We have participated in this event for the last 3 years hosting the GREENZONE. The Zone is a special exhibitor section that consists of companies that can help others save money and have less impact on the Earth at the same time. The Growing Green Awards tickets are on sale, the event takes place on March 30 from 6:00-9:00pm at Neo on Locust. This year’s Growing Green Awards will also mark the Chapter’s 10-Year Anniversary. Keynote speaker Rick Fedrizzi, President & CEO of the national U.S. Green Building Council will help celebrate 10 Green Years & Still Building!
