Vet-Pet Rescue, which is organized through Clarkson-Wilson Veterinary Clinic, will be participating in our Natural Living Expo and they are bringing some adoptable pets in search of their forever homes. Vet-Pet Rescue will provide visitors with information on spaying and neutering, the importance of rescue to our community, and what you can do to help pets in need. The ultimate goal of Vet-Pet Rescue is to provide permanent placement of animals in need and help to end overpopulation by means of spay and neuter programs. This non-profit organization was started by Dr. Doug Pernikoff of Clarkson-Wilson Veterinary Clinic in 2009. This incredible group has saved the lives of over 750 animals since its start. If you are looking to add a pet to your family, be sure to come and meet some of those available for adoption at the Expo. Vet-Pet Rescue also does adoption days each month at different locations.
