Susan Hunt-Bradford

Owner/Publisher Susan has taught communications and mass communications at the college level for over 25 years. Her love of mass media is one reason why she became publisher of The Healthy Planet. Susan has been a supporter of The Healthy Planet Magazine for the past 20 years. She has a son John and two furbabies Kiba and Jazzy. She is an animal rights advocate and although she loves all animals, she is a dog… all dogs… fanatic. She has a tendency to work 7 days a week but loves to travel whenever she can. Founder/Advisor 41 years in publishing. Graduate of Webster College. Father, husband, grandfather, teacher, writer, photographer, entrepreneur, mystery lover. Founded The Webster-Kirkwood Times community newspaper in 1978 and The Healthy Planet magazine in 1997. Green & Growing EditorLinda is a garden designer, organic gardener, writer, mandala artist, photographer, and creativity teacher. Her work centers around enhancing body, mind, heart and soul through gardens, art, art and gardening workshops, and writing. Linda began writing monthly gardening columns about organic, sustainable and holistic gardening for The Healthy Planet since 1998. Her writing is inspiring, practical and hopefully makes people fall in love with the beauty of nature in their own back yard. Michelle “Mike” Ochonicky

Arts EditorAward-winning artist whose work includes murals, drawing, illustrations, sculpture, photography and, most notably, scrimshaw. Her own artwork has been exhibited in the White House Visitor Center, the Cathedral Basilica of St. Louis, the Missouri’s Capitol Rotunda and the Missouri Governor’s Mansion. Mike’s work can be found in private, corporate, state, university and museum collections around the globe. When not working in her own studio, Mike serves as an educator, lecturer, awards judge, arts advocate and, of course, arts editor for The Healthy Planet magazine where she writes her ARTful Living column in every issue, promoting the arts in the St. Louis area.Email: stonehollowstudio@yahoo.com

 
Celia Henson  

Celia Henson

Office AdministratorCelia came to The Healthy Planet with over 30 years of bookkeeping, human resources and office administration skills. She currently is responsible for all administrative and bookkeeping needs at The Healthy Planet Magazine and helps out as their Travel advertising representative.

Celia is a graduate of Hickey College, where she earned her Associate Degree in Accounting.

Celia’s favorite hobbies are gardening, fishing and family trips.

One thing most people don’t know about Celia is that she has been involved in music most of her life. She took piano lessons as a child and taught herself how to play the guitar. Later in life, she joined a chorus and has competed in several Regional and International competitions throughout the United States.

Celia has been married for over 33 years and has a daughter, 2 step-daughters and 3 grandchildren.
