Natural Living Expo March 26

Susan Hunt-Bradford

I went to my first Healthy Planet Natural Living Expo many years ago. It has always held a special place in my memories with JB Lester and Niki, his wife, putting on a great event with the help of their daughters.

Here I am, 20 years later, and JB has now passed the torch to me, and I’m in charge of this year’s expo.

I’m excited for the public to meet the vendors because they have great information to share and are nice folks.

Throughout the years, I’ve been called the “expo queen” by a variety of people, having participated in my first expo in 1997 when I was a distributor for Spray Vitamins. The product was great, but the best part of the whole experience was the people on my team and the other distributors I got to hang out with at meetings and health fairs. Over the years, I’ve worked at expos for various companies and really enjoyed all the shows. The shows themselves are a basis of fellowship with the other vendors, and it’s a great way to have fun while working and telling the expo goers about your product. After working enough shows, you start to see the same vendors at upcoming expos, and it’s always fun to see a familiar face.

There are a lot of great events in March, and I’m happy to say The Healthy Planet Natural Living Expo is one of them, and we will be having a lot of awesome vendors and giveaways. I’m excited to meet our readers and other people who come to the show. It’s been a lot of work putting everything together, but with the help of Celia Henson, who thankfully is much more organized than I am, and JB, the Expo Pro, I’m happy to say this year’s Natural Living Expo is bound to be a good time for everyone.

I hope all our readers can stop by March 26, from 10-4, at The Webster Groves Rec Center and enjoy wine and food tastings, samples, health assessments, unique and beautiful items to buy, information to collect, new people to meet and a great experience to share. There will be giveaways and drawings, and I guarantee plenty of laughs and feel-good moments. Everyone, including myself, can walk away feeling more knowledgeable about our health and the environment.

Admission is $2 or free with the golden ticket in this issue or free with two cans of food which will be donated to a local food bank. We’ll also accept pet food to donate to our furry friends.

Stop by and say hi. I look forward to meeting all of you.
