Residents of Wildwood and surrounding areas are enjoying a new flavor in town. The group behind Llywelyn’s Pub opened Sllyce Republic Pizza in Mid-June, located at 2490 Taylor Rd.
Sllyce Republic Pizza is a Roman-style pizzeria that fuses the mouth-watering taste of chef-inspired pizza and sandwiches while using only the freshest ingredients. Specialties include a dough that is cold fermented for almost three days, pressed sandwiches, artisanal gelato, carefully curated cocktails, and high-end wine on draught.
Service will be polished casual, bringing a more upscale feel to a guest’s experience. Also included will be two indoor bocce courts for guests to use.
“We having been working on this concept for years. When we looked at the people we have currently and started to play around with the idea again, we knew we had something really special. Its time has come, and we couldn’t be more excited.” says Scott Kemper, a partner in the group.
Sllyce Republic Pizza will be operated by the same group as Llywelyn’s Pub. Ownership includes Scott Kemper, Chris Marshall and Brett Bennett.
