Mind Fest Kicks Off Unique — Even Quirky — ‘Fun Classes Outside The Box’ for the Intellectually Curious Adult

Why not create a life that’s intelligent, relevant, and fun? Mind Fest classes are planned to be informal entertaining learning experiences offered one evening a week.

“Mind Fest classes are exactly the type of classes that make you think ‘I always wondered about that, but didn’t know who to ask’, or, ‘I never heard of this, but now I’m curious and want to know more’,” says co-creater Jane Langa.

Co-creater Anne Murphy adds “When Jane and I met, we found we shared a passion for the curious and quirky, The more we talked, the more inspired we were by the interesting-ness of life. We founded Mind Fest to bring people together to share knowledge and have fun.”

Mind Fest’s first class, Be Selfie-Savvy, debuts January 7. January’s class schedule: Jan. 14: Exploring Jazz and How St. Louis Added The Cool, Jan. 21: Select Your Tech: How to Choose Your Handheld Devices, and Jan. 28: Philosophy and the Art of Living. Presented at The Novel Neighbor bookstore (www.thenovelneighbor.com), 7905 Big Bend Blvd., 63119 as well as subject-appropriate locations.

Students must register in advance. Limited to 20 students per class.
