Babies are adorable, there is no denying that, but newborns don’t do a whole lot. It’s fun to watch them sleep and wiggle but that’s all there really is to it. Now that my son Jackson is 3 months old, he in finally starting to act like a little person. When you smile at him, he flares his nostrils and smiles back, and when you sing to him he coos and and wiggles excitedly. About a week ago he had his first laugh and I cried because it was the most amazingly perfect sound, more of a high pitched giggle. It was unlike anything else I had ever experienced. Now he will smile when his daddy makes funny faces and he’ll giggle and coo for no reason at all, a sound that can brighten even our worst days.
Now that it’s getting chilly, I expected Jackson to have more trouble sleeping, but thanks to Aden and Anais organic swaddles, he sleeps warmly and soundly through the night.
