MDC partners with St. Louis Sprout and About For 3rd annual Celebration Event
The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) will partner with St. Louis Sprout and About to join the 2013 Sprout and About Annual Celebration event Saturday, Sept. 7 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Museum of Transportation. St. Louis Sprout and About (stlsprout.com/) is an online magazine and calendar that connects families with kid-friendly events and activities throughout the St. Louis area, including many opportunities to discover the wonders of nature and the outdoors. Admission to the Celebration and to the Museum of Transportation for this event is free. The Museum of Transportation is located at 3015 Barrett Station Road.

Kids and families join up with Whole Foods Market Galleria Team Members for a two-hour volunteer project to prepare the Urban Harvest STL downtown community garden for fall.
