Free Class – Your Body’s Messages

Tuesday, 9/13 at 7pm at The Healing Center, 734 DeMun in Clayton, visit www.HealingSTL.com or call 314-727-2120 to register. Most people agree that it is better to be proactive when it comes to maintaining health.  But, in health care, what exactly is “prevention?”  Is it prevention to get a check-up every year and wait for something to show up on labwork, and then try to deal with it?  Is it prevention to have some ideas of what you should do for your health, based on what we have been taught in books or on the internet, and then to do those “shoulds” most of the time? Fortunately there are ways to detect health imbalances very early.  Are also ways to get a better sense of what preventative health strategies might be best for you as an individual.  In this class we will be discussing ways to understand your body’s messages, symptom care versus health care and strategies for promoting optimal health.  Dr. Gould will demonstrate some self-testing methods for assessing your state of health.
