Fall Is A Great Time
To Tour The SayersBrook Bison Farm
SayersBrook Bison Ranch is nestled in the tallest hills
of the Ozark Mountains near Potosi, Missouri. Just 90
minutes from St. Louis you can experience one of the most
unique destinations in the state. With seven-hundred bison
roaming over 2000 acres, a mile-long private lake, pristine
creeks and streams, and surrounded by hundreds of thousands
of acres of National Forest, the ranch is secluded in
nature at its best.
SayersBrook is a great tour destination for your group
of twenty or more. The ranch tour includes a video history
of bison, lecture, covered wagon tour to feed a bison
herd, and on to the Pavilion on the mile long lake for
lunch. Enjoy a delicious bison burger, roast or steak,
take a pontoon boat ride on the lake and shop our country
store to take home souvenirs and bison meat. Come during
the fall foliage, the spring greening, or any time to
experience what you will surely say is one of the best
outings you’ve had in Missouri. And if you don’t
have a group of 20 or more, SayersBrook has a Saturday
morning tour at 10 am, no reservation needed. Food is
not served for groups without reservations.
Or if you have a group of seven to fifteen that’s
ready to get away from the hotels of the city to retreat
into one of nature’s most inspiring venues, stay
at the lodge for a few days to have the best corporate
meeting ever. Their 5 star Chef will spoil and delight
you. The rugged and unique activities (sporting clays,
machine-gun course, assault weapons range, hummer trail
rides) will excite you. And the beauty and uniqueness
of SayersBrook will help your group bond, create and build
your corporate strengths to new levels of professionalism.
The country store sells all 80 items of bison that the
ranch offers in its award-winning nationally distributed
“American Gourmet” catalog. Or the website
(www.sayersbrook.com)
can give you more information on the ranch as well as
allow you to order any of the meat items for which SayersBrook
has become famous.
The ranch is owned by third generation rancher Skip Sayers
and his wife Connie. Their attention to detail will make
your visit very special, because they believe you are
special. Their philosophy of being the “temporary
care-takers” of the land will charm you and their
love of the ranch and enthusiasm in sharing it with you
will leave a lasting impression of their definition of
first-class care-taking.
