Living Celebrates 40th Anniversary; Master Key Program
Begins September 23

Charles F. Haanel was born in Ann Arbor Michigan. As a
young boy his family moved to St. Louis, where his career
as a successful entrepreneur began. He founded one of
the largest corporation of its time in St. Louis. Upon
retiring he began studying personal power, metaphysics,
and prosperity consciousness writing a number of successful
books during his career.
There are many today who claim The Master Key System is
the greatest book ever written. However, it began as a
20 part correspondence course in 1910. When in the 1930s
it was released as a series of books the Catholic Church
banned them and it faded until recently.
This was the first book to use the phrase Law of Attraction,
which is a popular term today. This book also covered
everything from creating abundance as well as getting
healthy and harmonious living.
There is a persistent rumor that while attending Harvard
University, Bill Gates read The Master Key System. Perhaps,
but really it has been the best kept secret of almost
every successful Silicon Valley entrepreneur. It is behind
the hit movie "The Secret" and has inspired
the writing of the many of the world's most famous success
books including Think and Grow Rich. Here is an excerpt
from the Master Key System:
PART SEVENTEEN
We are told that Man has "dominion over all things";
this dominion is established through Mind. Thought is
the activity which controls every principle beneath it.
The highest principle by reason of its superior essence
and qualities necessarily determines the circumstances,
aspects and relation of everything with which it comes
in contact……We are accustomed to look upon
the Universe with a lens of five senses, and from these
experiences our anthropomorphic conceptions originate,
but true conceptions are only secured by spiritual insight….
October 10th ,11th ,12th the Center for Spiritual Living
in Creve Coeur celebrates its 40th anniversary in St.
Louis and Rev. Marigene De Rusha celebrates 25 years in
the ministry. We teach from the works of Dr. Ernest Holmes,
Charles Haanel, Ralph Waldo Emerson, Gandhi and others.
September 23rd begins the next class of the Master Key
System including the unpublished chapters recently discovered.
The class is taught by Larry DeRusha, a successful entrepreneur
who lectures around the country.
