Lecture Yoga for Holistic Living© Dec. 15
Gretchen Karros, MA, Certif. Yoga Instructor
Yoga is fun, stimulating and energizing so why aren’t
more people between
the ages of 30 and 60 who experience stress and stiffness
signing up for Yoga classes? We all have good intentions,
but are very busy and perhaps have tried Yoga in the
past but found even a beginner’s class too difficult.
The holistic approach discussed in this free lecture
provides a window of understanding on how to incorporate
Yoga philosophy and practice in daily living.
I have taught Yoga to students of all ages during my
25 plus year career. I think my life and commitment
to health, flexibility and meditation is a testament
to the benefits Yoga has provided me. My goal for my
students is this same self-discovery.
This 90 minute lecture will consists of a combination
of both lecture and class participation. Students will
be exposed to these five basics:
• The history of Yoga
• Basic simple warm-ups and poses
• Meditation techniques
• Nutrition and healthy diet
• Personal self discovery
Dec. 15th @ Parkway U.C.C.Church, Ballas & Clayton
Rd. 6 to 7 pm
Please join me for this lecture and/or one of my six-week
classes to be held at various locations in West County.
YOGA CLASSES WILL BEGIN ON JAN. 7, 2009. Because Yoga
is a gentle first step on the road to a healthy life
style why not think about giving yourself or someone
you love the gift of Yoga for Christmas. For more information
