Circle of Light Independent Spiritualist Church
A weekly gathering held from 6:45 – 8:30 p.m.
on Sunday evenings, we share a service of prayer, song,
messages from spirit with our mediums, and meditation.
Quiet healing time is from 6:45 – 7 p.m. with
the offering of energetic healing as time allows. Doors
are closed at 7 p.m. when service begins. All are invited.
The gathering is based on Spiritualist principles, which
honors all traditions and paths. Please arrive before
7 p.m. We ask that you not disturb service once we have

WILD LIGHTS AT THE ZOO
Bundle up and come see the Saint Louis Zoo in a different
light at U.S. Bank Wild Lights. Stroll through the Zoo’s
enchanting holiday wonderland and enjoy thousands of
colorful lights and seasonal sounds Fridays through
Sundays, November 28-December 14 and nightly, December
19-23, 26-30, 2008 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. You’ll
be dazzled by animated light displays. Admission to
Wild Lights is $5 per person; $4 for Zoo Friends members
(no passes). Children under two are free. Reservations

Celebrate “Kwanzaa: Festival of the First
Fruits”
at the Missouri Botanical Garden on Tuesday, Dec. 30
from noon to 4 p.m. Kwanzaa is a non-religious holiday
that derives its name from the Swahili term matunda
ya kwanza, meaning “fruits of the harvest.”
The annual event honors African traditions and history,
with storytelling and music to celebrate the harvest
feast before the dry season. A table of fruits, vegetables
and grains will be displayed. The event is included
with Garden admission ($8 adults; St. Louis City and

for First Night® – Saint Louis, the annual
visual and performing arts festival celebrating the

December 31. Grand Center (Grand Blvd. between Lindell
and Delmar). Admission buttons are available in advance
starting Dec. 1 at local Borders and Dierbergs locations
