To touch the heart of a person with compassion and healing—this is what we do at A Gathering Place Massage School.

Our students, staff and clients know this feeling of compassionate touch. They experience it in their classes and in their treatment sessions. We become like family at A Gathering Place. The journey through massage school opens us up to ourselves, so we can heal on many levels of being—Body, Mind, Emotion and Spirit. As we heal ourselves, we can hold a healing space for others as well.

In our classes, we learn how to complete a full body massage routine and build a strong skill set as we practice what we have learned. We prepare for National Boards. A Gathering Place Massage School is accredited by ACCET. We have a 100% pass ratio on National Boards year-to-date, and a 94% pass ratio on National Boards, on a cumulative basis. Our students receive comprehensive training and have the ability to choose from Allied Modalities, specialty bodywork, to complement their Swedish massage training. Students have the opportunity to work on friends and family (at no charge) in our Student Clinic. We also offer massage to the public at $30.00 per hour and we participate in Community Service events, educating and giving back to the community. The students learn strong business skills and plan for how their businesses will look and feel when they graduate. When it comes to Anatomy and Physiology, we make A&P fun! Maxi, the skeleton, is always around to help out! He regularly gets all dressed-up for graduation to cheer on his student friends. Receiving counseling and guidance with job and equipment choices is simply a question away. Our staff enjoy helping students make informed choices about their careers.
