St. Louis Wellness Center Hosts Annual Open House & Community Appreciation Day Oct. 5

Everyone seeks wellness and serenity, and the St. Louis Wellness Center providers specializes in those things – and want to share their talent and experience at the annual Open House & Community Appreciation Day on Saturday, Oct. 5 from 1 to 5 p.m. It’s a day of family fun, wellness education and presentations, tours, snacks and smoothies, vendors, silent auction, health and wellness resources, raffles, and music.

“It’s been 12 years since we launched the St. Louis Wellness Center,” said Dr. Gwin Stewart, director of the facility. “People coming here get to experience the expert skill, and also the openheartedness of our 30 providers.”

The Open House is an opportunity for the public to come see the space and various rooms and meet the providers without having to make an appointment. There are 14 presentations scheduled in our accompanying Mind-Body-Spirit Lecture Series, so take in one or more. If you’ve never been to the St Louis Wellness Center, or if you have and want to see the entire building, now is the perfect time to see all that is under one roof. With 30 different health and wellness experts practicing out of one space, it makes your commitment to your own health easier to realize.

Whether you are interested in trying out yoga, want to get a great massage, have been thinking about seeing a psychotherapist, or are curious about Ayurveda or CranioSacral therapy – now is the time to come talk to everyone at the StLWC and see the place for yourself. You will be amazed at how much is packed into what seems like a small building.

“Because it’s been such a good experience for so many people, they keep coming to us,” said Stewart. “Over the 12 years, we’ve been able to see a change in the wellness community. There are more wellness centers popping up now in St. Louis, but none are as old as ours and have the history or the expertise that we have. People can come and see that we’re just good, real, normal people – here to help them.”

All monies collected from donations, raffles, and silent auction items will go to a Webster Groves non-profit organization helping to serve our community.

The event will run from 1 to 5 p.m. Stop by at 425 Marshall, Webster Groves 63119. For more information call 314-963-7711 or email stlouiswellnesscenter@gmail.com.
