A Tasteful Affair April 22; A Celebration Making Nutrition and Compassion Center Stage for 30 Years
Featuring St. Louis’ Favorite Restaurants with Entertainment by Ben Nordstrom and Friends Proceeds Fuel Food Outreach to Provide Nutritional Support and Wholesome Meals for Clients with HIV/AIDS or Cancer
Food Outreach’s 30th annual A Tasteful Affair is Sunday April 22nd at the Four Seasons Hotel, 999 N. Second Street, 63102 from 2 to 5 p.m. The best chefs from more than 25+ local kitchens will have tastes and treats ready to sample, while local singer/actor, Ben Nordstrom and Friends bring alive this year’s Broadway theme from the food to the mood. There will also be hundreds of unique silent and live auction items and experiences on which to bid. A Tasteful Affair is the largest fundraiser of the year for Food Outreach, which provides vital nutrition services to thousands of people living with HIV/AIDS or cancer at no cost to them. Food Outreach is the only St. Louis-area organization providing nutritional support to community members who are battling with HIV/AIDS or cancer in addition to food insecurity. The funds raised at A Tasteful Affair will provide the resources to help Food Outreach continue to prepare wholesome, made-from-scratch, nourishing food and groceries to help our clients who are indigent; who find preparing meals difficult or impossible and who are in the workplace and can extend their employment by removing extraneous demands on their energy.
