You likely remember the location, but what you discover when you walk through the doors of the former Busch’s Grove Restaurant is a whole new concept in integrative health and wellness. (photo right)

PALM Health (PALM stands for Personalized Advanced Lifestyle Medicine) opened at the corner of Price and Clayton Roads in early 2016. PALM has created a state-of-the-art healing environment that combines comprehensive medical, naturopathic, fitness, coaching, lifestyle and spa services, all designed to transform lives.

“We provide a unique combination of highly personalized, preventive care and treatment to foster every aspect of physical, emotional and mental health,” explained Dr. Lauren Munsch-Dal Farra, the center’s founder and CEO. “We focus on each person’s total health and wellness, offering comprehensive assessments and individualized coaching to create a wellness plan that fits your lifestyle.”

PALM’s experienced staff includes several certified doctors and health professionals with specialties in heart health, neurology, rheumatology, weight management, cancer support, anti-inflammation, mental health, fitness, nutrition, and holistic medicine. In addition to primary medical care and mental health services, PALM provides a wide range of complementary medicine services, including acupuncture, biofeedback, a cryosauna, infrared sauna, and a Himalayan salt room.

A fully equipped health and wellness club, complete with personal trainers, fitness classes, weight management, and wellness education programs, helps PALM members stay in shape and in control of their health and wellness. For relaxation and rejuvenation, the luxurious spa offers body wraps, massages, facials and other specialty treatments. PALM’s in-house Café, headed by an executive French chef, offers delicious, healthy dishes along with demonstrations of healthy cooking techniques, tips on meal planning and shopping, and special culinary events.

“Whatever your goals are – from prevention to performance enhancement to healing – we have the resources and expertise to meet your needs,” said Dr. Munsch-Dal Farra.
PALM memberships start at $300 per year, with higher levels depending on the range of services desired. Medical providers are in-network with most health insurance carriers, and most accept Medicare.

“We have created a highly personalized, comprehensive way of addressing each individual’s health and wellness,” added Dr. Munsch-Dal Farra. “Once you experience PALM, you’ll have a whole new way of answering the question, ‘How are you?’”
