We all know that exercise is a vital component of a healthy lifestyle, yet a very small percentage of our population can commit to an effective and consistent fitness program over time. We have also learned through research that high intensity training, actions that stress muscle and bone at peak levels, is dramatically more effective than low intensity exercise.

As we age, the need for a high intensity workout compounds our challenge as the risk of injury and the ability to tolerate high impacts becomes an even greater problem. Many turn to pharmaceuticals to offset the risks associated with aging, such as bone density, while others choose to do nothing at all. A sedentary life style then leads to greater likelihood of injury, the body gets weaker and the cycle begins to spiral downward.
