Pesto Festo: EarthDance’s Celebration of Local Farms & Fundraiser Nov. 6

Pesto Festo is EarthDance’s premier fundraising celebration of the year and includes live music, dancing, local food, live art, a silent auction, The EarthDance Mission Awards, and much more. Located at the Savoy in Ferguson, Missouri, on November 6th, it is a confluence of community and an opportunity to give thanks for the year’s bountiful harvest. For more details or to purchase tickets, visit www.pestofesto.org

The EarthDance

Mission Awards

Just as EarthDance first honored Caroline Mueller in 2008, they will continue to honor a local farmer or gardener for their contribution to the sustainable agriculture movement each year. In addition to honoring a farmer, EarthDance would like their mission of growing and inspiring local FARMS – Food, Art, Relationships, and Music, Sustainably – to resonate by awarding also a local artist, community activist, and musician for their contribution to creating vibrant sustainable communities.

About EarthDance

Sponsored by the Open Space Council, EarthDance is a not-for-profit organization, located on the historic Mueller Organic Farm in Ferguson, MO. In its second year of operation, EarthDance offers a season-long apprenticeship program to train participants in organic farming and gardening techniques —from seed propagation to farmers markets.
